Link looks good in LEGO, and he makes a great lamp

Artist Julius von Brunk specializes in LEGO sculptures and artwork. He also just so happens to be fan of video games. See where this is going?

It's going here.

Brunk’s most recent project is a three-sided lamp clad in the three spiritual gems from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but he’s applied his talents to a wealth of other games such as Mega Man, Star Wars, Pokémon and the original Super Mario Bros.

My kingdom for this Skulltula.

Looking a bit angry there, Mega Man.

Impressive as his full gallery of works is, his illuminated LEGO portraits stand above the crowd. And thanks to his explanation of how the sprite-inspired pieces are created, you’re only a few hundred bricks away from creating your own.
