Every year at the end of BlizzCon, Blizzard invites a musical guest to close out the show for an epic send-off for everyone in attendance. In 2013, it was Blink 182. Last year was Metallica. And this year, will be the Grammy Awarding-winning rock band Linkin Park. The band will close out the show on Saturday, November 7th.
“We’re beyond excited to welcome SoCal natives Linkin Park to close out BlizzCon with a bang on Saturday night,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We can’t think of a better way to bring two full days of gaming and action-packed eSports matches to an epic conclusion than with a band that’ll carry the weekend’s electricity through to the very end.”
Aside from the closing band, BlizzCon promises all sorts of other exciting activities, including in-depth developer panels, eSports tournaments, and I'm sure tons of other surprises. Tickets to the two-day convention are sold out, but fans of Linkin Park can still catch the show live through the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket.
