Linkle, the female Link, confirmed for Hyrule Warriors Legends

Nintendo confirmed today that female Link — ahem, "Linkle," as she's officially named — will be coming to Hyrule Warriors Legends, the Nintendo 3DS version of the Wii U hack-and-slash Hyrule Warriors.

Linkle is a dual-wielding crossbow hunter capable of taking down enemies coming at her form all directions. "Her jumpy, energetic nature brings something special to the battlefield," Nintendo said, comparing her special "Spin Kick" ability to Link's Spin Attack.

Linkle will join Toon Link, Tetra and the King of Red Lions in Hyrule Warriors Legends on March 25, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS.
