Lionsgate is tossing around the idea of a John Wick TV show

John Wick is awesome, I think we all can agree. The film was high octane action and the sequel releasing next week should be even better. Apparently, that's not all Lionsgate has in store as an idea for a TV show is being tossed around.

In an interview with Slashfilm, the movie's director Chad Stahelski noted that

We basically almost have a prequel written, but we’d save that for other aspects of the property. Lions gate is very interested in doing a ‘John Wick’ TV show, and that seems very appealing to us. I think in TV you could really expand on what that is, and greater than we could in just a two-hour film. We’d like to wrap-up the story we’re telling now and maybe save all our prequel ideas and impossible task ideas for that medium.

They also went on to say that a 3rd and "Final Chapter" film could be expected if all goes well, which is something I'm sure we could have figured out on our own. John Wick Chapter 2 hits theaters on February 10th, and is sure to be a quick hit with its fans.
