LittleBigPlanet 3 to enter closed beta next month

LittleBigPlanet community website LittleBigPlanet Central today revealed a very closed beta for Sackboy’s next adventure which will begin next month with a small wave of invites for its user base.

Beta access codes will be distributed to active LBP community members through LBPcentral accounts, and only to an almost literal handful of people. Slots in the closed beta are extremely limited, meaning only the most avid designers or members are likely to be admitted.

LittleBigPlanet 3 was revealed during Sony’s E3 2014 presentation and introduces three new characters to the game’s 2D platforming fare. It is slated for release on PS4 this November, and will incorporate all past LittleBigPlanet player-made content into its multiplayer. For more on the game, check out our hands-on preview.
