LittleBigPlanet PS Vita release date announced

LittleBigPlanet on the PlayStation Vita will release in North America on Tuesday, September 25, Sony announced today.

A new trailer released alongside the announcement, giving us a better idea about the story of the new LittleBigPlanet. The story of this game takes place on the planet of Carnivalia. Known for its time spreading joy and laughter throughout the universe, Sackboy joins the story when this has changed for the worst. For some reason Carnivalia has "gone bad" and a mysterious figure known as the puppeteer is to blame.

It'll only be a short wait until you can uncover the mystery.

In addition to an all-new story, the PS Vita version of LittleBigPlanet introduces new features that lets you play new game experiences and share your levels with the world, no matter your location. You will be able to snap photos and use them to decorate Sackboy or customize your level.

By pre-ordering the game now you can snag yourself some pretty cool bonus BioShock or Knights of Old costumes. Sony has yet to make any announcement regarding bonus content for digital users.
