Live-action Mortal Kombat series in the works

This April we will be seeing more than just a new Mortal Kombat game, we will also be seeing a new live-action series.

Blue Ribbon Content, a new studio from Warner Bros., will be working on a number of live-action and animated series (they're working on a Justice League and Batman animated series) — an untitled Mortal Kombat series being one of them.

This live-action series will include iconic MK characters as well as a new generation of fighters – that means that coming games will have some new characters (or at least new characters as DLC for Mortal Kombat X). The unnamed series will be very much associated with the coming Mortal Kombat X.

Mortal Kombat X is set to release April 14, 2015 on the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

What kind of new fighter do you want to see?
