shelves around Europe in late November.
As the first 2.4 GHz joystick for the PC, the
Logitech Freedom 2.4 Cordless Joystick uses the most powerful radio technology
available, for a new level of reliability, cable-free response and control.
Gamers can kick back and sit comfortably more than 20 feet away, yet still
experience no "lag" in gaming performance with Freedom 2.4. This means they can
play how and where they want and get rid of irritating clutter from their desks
at the same time.
Freedom 2.4 is loaded with features. These
features include than 50 hours of gameplay provided by three AA batteries
(included), while ten programmable buttons, an eight-way hat switch, and a twist
handle allow for the ultimate in joystick control. The joystick also includes a
pager-sized receiver with a Status Indicator and a USB connector.
The new joystick features an eye-catching
design straight out of a gaming laboratory from the next millennium, with a
sleek handle that’s been designed for comfort and excellent access to the
buttons and hat, and a rugged, stable rubber base. There are a number of premium
touches as well, from the rubberized hat to the aluminum trigger, throttle,
faceplate, and collar. Like other popular PC gaming products from Logitech,
