Looks like Hi-C Ecto Cooler is making a comeback

If you were alive in the 1980's and doing more than shoving plastic things in your mouth, drooling and pooping, you probably remember the Ghostbusters themed Hi-C. If you weren't alive or were bust throwing up on someone's shoulder while getting your back patted, The Coca-Cola owned Hi-C brand created a green-colored citrus-flavored sugary drink called the Ecto Cooler.

The Ecto Cooler had a short life-span, appearing in the lunch boxes of plenty of children, but it eventually faded away into obscurity. With the Ghostbusters reboot on the way starring Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Bill Murray, the sugary concoction is apparently getting resurrected.

Back in September, Coca-Cola slyly applied to renew the slime-themed beverage's trademark and now, the Ecto Cooler has been spotted navigating the dangerous safari that is eBay. An auction for the new Ecto Cooler drink appeared on eBay, then ended.

Probably because the product isn't supposed to exist yet.

Regardless of how you feel about the reboot, it looks like the film's marketing team is all about bringing things back from the dead. By the way, the main villain for the Ghostbusters reboot was revealed… and it's someone we know pretty well.
