Looks like Minecraft could finally get announced for Wii U today

For years now, Wii U owners have wondered why Minecraft was never brought over to Nintendo's system. I mean, with the Gamepad it just seems like such a perfect fit for the system.

I don't know what took so long, but it looks like the addictive open-world sandbox builder could finally be making its way to Wii U. While we've had no official announcement yet, a rating for Minecraft: Wii U Edition has appeared on the Pan European Game Information page, PEGI for short.

Interestingly, PEGI says the game will releas today, November 12th. Again, no announcement has been made as of yet, but Nintendo is broadcasting its first Nintendo Direct today at 2:00pm PT / 5:00pm ET.

It's possible Nintendo could announce Minecraft's arrival on Wii U and surprise us with one of the ol' "available today" type things. People love that sh*t.
