So I just posted that Nintendo's quirky life simulator, Tomodachi Life, is finally out. I also mentioned its unfortunate circumstance of not including gay marriage, which cuts out a big population of gamers, feeling like they can't fully represent themselves in the game.
However! Low and behold, in the picture I included in this post, you can clearly see our very own Andrew Clouther and myself, taking a lovely photo in a chapel. The shocked look on all our faces represents us not believing we just pulled that off!
Sure, it might not be the gay marriage that fans have been wanting and have spoken up about, especially since Nintendo has even outright stated that gay marriage won't be supported in the game. And while this is in no way a workaround, since these photos are just part of the Photo Studio location on the Island, it's cool that you can set your pictures up any way you want, including two guys or girls up on the altar together, looking as happy as ever.
