Louis Bedigian Checks Himself Into Rehab
PSP Addiction Reaches Dangerous Level
Farmington
Hills, April 1, 2005 – GameZone Online regrets to announce that one of our
reviewers, Louis Bedigian, has succumbed to PSP addiction.
On March
31st at approximately 12:31am, Louis was found unconscious in his single-room
apartment after a 48-hour game fest. PSP game boxes littered the room, while
the device itself laid clutched in his hands.
Louis moved
into the tiny apartment just one week after getting his PSP, insisting that he
no longer needed the space. Signs of his addiction were prevalent, but his
co-workers were oblivious.
"I just
thought he was really enthused," said Michael Lafferty, Senior Editor,
referring to the amount of time Louis spent playing Wipeout Pure. "I had no
idea he was sick."
Louis was
taken to Macabre Hospital in San Andreas where doctors used the Jaws of Life
to remove the lodged PSP.
Louis was
released from the hospital this morning and made the courageous move to check
himself into the PSP Rehabilitation Clinic. A spokesperson for the clinic
released the following statement:
"We have had
a hard time keeping up with gamers since the PSP’s March 24th release.
Although we anticipate the number of PSP addicts to increase in the coming
months, we will do everything we can to recharge your batteries and get you
back on your feet."
Stay
with us for further information on Louis’s condition and his recovery.
