Lucasfilm just dropped a major plot hint about the new Star Wars trilogy

Despite two teaser trailers, quote snippets from cast and crew, and an abundance of toys, Star Wars: The Force Awakens very much remains a mystery. Sure, there's plenty of speculation surrounding the plot of the upcoming film and its new characters — particularly Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren — but nothing has been officially confirmed.

However, in a recent interview, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy may have provided us with the biggest clue yet — the story arc of the new Star Wars film trilogy.

"The Saga films focus on the Skywalker family saga," she revealed. "The stories follow a linear narrative that connects the previous six films. The Force Awakens follows Return of the Jedi and continues that generational story."

Kennedy's comments don't confirm, but do reflect the general speculation that at least one of the three new leads are a Skywalker relative. So the question is, which one (or more) of the newcomers are linked to the Skywalker family tree?
