Lucasfilm still considering Star Wars 1313 for development

It ain't dead yet!

Following Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm Ltd., the intriguing third-person shooter, Star Wars 1313, was indefinitely put on hold after Disney decided to shut down the LucasArts division of Lucasfilm. The game's concept had centered on Boba Fett and quite frankly, the game looked awesome.

Apparently, the game is only mostly dead. According to Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy, there's a chance that Star Wars 1313 could still make it through development.

During an interview with SlashFilm on the state of TV show scripts that never saw the light of day, Kennedy commented on Star Wars 1313. "And there was 1313 the game, where there was…." began Kennedy before the interviewer interjected that "the concept art had been amazing." Kennedy seemingly agreed as she went to say more on Star Wars 1313.

"Unbelievable," continued Kennedy. "So our attitude is, we don’t want to throw any of that stuff away. It’s gold. And it’s something we’re spending a lot of time looking at, pouring through, discussing, and we may very well develop those things further. We definitely want to."

That's right folks, Star Wars 1313 isn't dead yet. We might get the Star Wars game we want after all (somewhere far off in the future).
