Luke Cage Netflix premiere date announced

The Netflix red carpet premiere for season two of Daredevil was last night and it brought some of the main cast together, but a familiar face stopped by to drop a bombshell of good news.

In an interview Mike Cotler, the actor who plays Luke Cage in the first season of Jessica Jones, announced the premiere date for his standalone show titled — Luke Cage. The show will debut later this year on September 30th! Check out the announcement in the video above (it comes in around the 2:25 min mark).

The first trailer for the Netflix original series, Daredevil, was filled with The Punisher and ended on Elektra. The second trailer picks up exactly where the first left off and shows off even more of Elodie Yung as Elektra, click here to watch the full trailer.

Season 2 is set to debut on Netflix on March 25th, 2016.
