Luke Skywalker’s costume for Star Wars Episode VIII is going to be different, yet familiar

WARNING: SPOILER ALERT, THIS IS A WARNING FOR SPOILERS THAT HAS BEEN MADE AS PAINFULLY OBVIOUS AS IT CAN POSSIBLY BE. IF YOUR EYES GAZE BEYOND THIS POINT, IT'S YOUR FAULT.

Star Wars: Rogue One may be the next Star Wars movie on the horizon, but let's face it. It's not nearly as important as the next main entry (at least until it proves it doesn't suck). Many questions have circled around the internet, pretty much since the end of the first set of showings of The Force Awakens. Much of the focus has been on Luke Skywalker, who barely got more than a stare at the end of Episode VII. More like two stares.
Clearly, things are going to change for the son of The Chosen One, and one of those things will apparently be his getup. Yes, Luke Skywalker took more than one outfit with him to Anch-To, the home of the first Jedi Temple, and if the folks at MakingStarWars.net are right (and they have a history of being so), it sounds like Luke will be donning his black tunic (or something resembling it) from Return of the Jedi.
The site commissioned an illustration from the artist known as Lumberjack Nick, to depict a scene with Luke's new outfit in a scene where Rey is apparently frustrated by Luke's teachings (which you can check out here). Parallels are drawn between his robes from Return of the Jedi as well as Count Dooku, so it could be possible that Luke might be a little bit more apt to see what his father saw in the Dark Side in the wake of his defeat at the hands of his nephew, Ben Solo.
The costume is also described as "filthy most of the time", so it's also very apparent that Luke will be playing the Yoda role in Episode VIII. Seriously all that water, and you never go wash your clothes once? Yoda at least had the excuse of living in a swamp.
