SIMON
& SCHUSTER INTERACTIVE AND PIPE DREAM INTERACTIVE
DELIVER
‘M&Ms® MINIs® MADNESS’ GAME BOY® COLOR DEMO
FOR
PLAY ON PERSONAL COMPUTERS

NEW
YORK, NY, November 29, 2000 – Simon & Schuster Interactive and Pipe
Dream Interactive have teamed up to deliver an Internet-based demo for
M&Ms® MINIs® Madness. Based upon Pipe Dream Interactive’s proprietary
technology, fans of M&Ms and video gamers everywhere can now download a
level of the Game Boy® Color game, M&Ms® MINIs® Madness, for play on
their personal computers.

“Pipe
Dream Interactive continually strives to develop and introduce technologies
which allow us to more effectively market interactive properties, as well as
leverage them into new areas,” said Dan Kitchen, Vice President of Hand-Held
Development for Pipe Dream Interactive. “The ability to play a Game Boy game
on a personal computer is an example of introducing a complimentary
demographic to a new platform.”

The
M&M’s® MINIs® Madness download is currently “live” and can be
downloaded from the Official M&Ms® at http://www.m-ms.com/lostform/demo.html.

The
demo will consist of a single level that players may either play over the
Internet or download to their PC. In the demo, players assume the character of
Red, Yellow, Green or Blue as they attempt to shut down the factory circuit
breaker. Scattered throughout the level are hidden items, such as a
skateboard, to help the M&M’s® throughout their quest.

Developed
by Pipe Dream Interactive, M&M’s® MINIs® Madness for Game Boy® Color
is scheduled for release in November. For more information on M&M’s®
MINIs® Madness, visit the official M&Ms® web site at http://www.m-ms.com/
