EA Sports has given an update on Madden NFL 16. So football fans, while you do your mock drafts leading up to the NFL Draft, you now have a solid release date for this year's Madden — August 25, 2016. See as how every year Madden launches that week (between the 23rd and 30th of August), it's not that much of a surprise.
This is a big year for Madden, considering that 2K is getting back in the game with their own game, and working with Joe Montana. That game supposedly comes out in mid-late July, and it's called Joe Montana Football 16. I don't think that's a reason that EA should rush out Madden earlier, but we'll see if it affects the sales of Madden at all. I think we can all agree that competition in football video games can only get us gamers a better product. That's a good thing!
Other new information EA released about Madden NFL 16… oh, there is none.
But hey, more news, features and details are coming in May, so we'll learn more about the changes to this year's Madden then.
