Madden 18 will feature Tom Brady as the cover athlete, Story Mode revealed

Hopefully, you aren't sick and tired of New England Patriots Golden Boy, Tom Brady, because if you plan on picking up the next iteration of Madden, be prepared to stare at his face. All. Year. Long.

Have a look:

Yes, EA has announced that the Super Bowl Champion (*barf*) Quarterback is gracing the cover of Madden NFL 18. Though if the Madden Curse has any mojo left (and we hope that it does), it could actually be a good thing for the sake of actually seeing a different team atop the AFC East. Brady himself, however, doesn't believe in the curse.

He had this to say:

"The Madden NFL 18 cover is a great honor for me. Especially since I have been playing the game since growing up next to EA headquarters in the Bay Area. I'm not one to believe in curses, so I'm ready to take the challenge head on like always! It doesn't stand a chance!!!"

A teaser trailer for the game also dropped earlier today, which you can check out below and confirms that the game will be getting a story mode similar to FIFA 17's The Journey. Here's the trailer.

Madden NFL 18 will release on Xbox One and PS4 on August 25th, 2017.
