Madden NFL 13 Cover Vote narrowed to 16

Voting for the remaining 16 Madden NFL 13 Cover athletes has opened up.  Fans can now vote to narrow the selection down to a top 8 for this year's cover athlete.

Following round one we saw the exit of quarterback Tim Tebow, safety Troy Polamalu, linebacker Demarcus Ware, and many more.

Round two voting will run from March 28th until April 4th.  After some wide margined victories, this week's matchups look to be a little closer in voting.  Below are the matchups you can vote on for round two:

  • Cam Newton vs Antonio Gates
  • LeSean McCoy vs Larry Fitzgerald
  • Patrick Willis vs Maurice Jones-Drew
  • Darelle Revis vs Victor Cruz
  • Aaron Rodgers vs Marshawn Lynch
  • Ray Rice vs Drew Brees
  • Calvin Johnson vs Arian Foster
  • Jared Allen vs Rob Gronkowski

Be on the lookout as Gronkowski and Revis make their bid for Madden NFL 13 Cover Athlete on ESPN today.

I'm glad to see my initial picks, Calvin Johnson and Victor Cruz are still remaining.  Who is your favorite for this year's cover athlete?
