The eagerly awaited demo for Madden NFL 13 arrives tomorrow giving players a sneak peak at this year's installment of EA's annual football franchise.
As detailed last week, the demo will give long time fans of the series a look at the Infinity Engine, the all-new real time physics engine, and a sneak peek at a couple of home, away, and throwback Nike uniforms.
The demo, which will be available as a free download on Tuesday, August 14, will offer two Play Now matchups. The first is a rematch of last season's NFC Championship game between the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers. You can get a sneak peek at the intro of the game in the trailer above. The second matchup will give players their first look at Robert Griffin III in a game between the Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks.
The demo includes the redesigned pregame presentation as well as all of the new gameplay mechanics in Madden NFL 13 including Total Control Passing; the Ball Hawk mechanic, play action abort, use of Kinect functionality on Xbox 360 only, and the Infinity Engine. Other features in the demo include the new Main Menu Action Grid, new theme music, improved lighting with HDR, motion blur, and an instant replay overhaul.
The demo is an entire game with 5 minute quarters, and you can choose difficulty, EA explained. Madden NFL 13 Game Face will also be accessible in the demo allowing you to create yourself for use in the full version of the game when it releases later this month. For the first time, you'll be able to put yourself in the game as a player or coach using your Game Face.
If you haven't yet seen it, you can view the overall ratings for all of the QBs and RBs in Madden NFL 13.
