Madden NFL 15 correctly predicts Super Bowl XLIX winner

Every year, EA Sports attempts to predict the outcome of the Super Bowl through a simulation in their Madden NFL video game. And surprisingly, they're usually right. The game has correctly predicted something like eight out of the last 11 Super Bowl winners. After tonight, let's make that nine out of 12.

Not only did Madden NFL 15 correctly predict the New England Patriots to beat the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX, but it even predicted the exact score — 28-24, Patriots. What's crazier, the game even said that the Patriots would come from behind after being down 14-24, which they did. It didn't predict Russell Wilson's last-minute interception, which sealed the deal for the Patriots, but I don't think anyone could've predicted such a moronic play call at the end.

In case you missed it, here was the prediction video which aired on January 26th.

Seriously though, why would the Seahawks just run the ball in from the one?
