Madden NFL 15 Week 5 Roster Update detailed

So Tom Brady sucks this year. In fact, he's so sucky that EA has decided to drop his overall in the newest roster update for Madden NFL 15.

"For more than a decade, Tom Brady has come to personify the quarterback position en route to 11 AFC East titles and three Super Bowl rings," EA said of Brady.

"But after a relatively down year (for him) in 2013, Brady has struggled through the first quarter of 2014. Playing without a number of his targets from past seasons, Brady ranks 27th in the NFL in Total QBR with just four touchdown passes."

His terrible performance on Monday Night Football was icing on the cake, and the result is a drop in two overall points, bringing Brady to an overall of 90. He also received minor bumps in AWR (-1), THA (-3), TAS (-1), TAM (-1), TAD (-7) and PAC (-1).

Brady wasn't the only loser this week. Other QBs hit with the nerf hammer include Washington Redskins' Kirk Cousins (-3 to 78 OVR) and New York Jets' Geno Smith (-2 to 75 OVR). New England Patriots Wide Receiver Danny Amendola also dropped (-4 to 78 OVR).
