Electronic Arts quietly released the promised Week 1 roster update for Madden NFL 16, but there's a good chance you might have missed the announcement. That's because EA didn't officially announce it. News of the update comes by way of the Madden community and Madden Creative Director Rex Dickson.
The spreadsheet of changes in this week's update wasn't posted anywhere, but one of the highlights spotted by the community include Aldon Smith now being on the Oakland Raiders. Of course, the speed increase to veteran DBs also appears to be in effect.
We're hoping EA posts some official changes tomorrow. In any case, it appears you may finally be ready to start your Madden Connected Franchise.
Yesterday, EA also rolled out Madden 16's Player Likeness Update, which included more than 180 new updated player likenesses.
