Madden NFL 25 Week 3 roster update released; here’s the biggest winners and losers

As is tradition, EA Sports has released the latest roster update reflecting the results from the NFL season's week two games. Big games from Eddie Royal, Giovani Bernard, and Dontari Poe have led to big increases to the overalls of these three players.

San Diego Chargers wide receiver Eddie Royal caught seven passes for 90 yards and three touchdowns, giving him a total of five on the year. This has apparently been enough to warrant a five point overall upgrade, now putting Eddie Royal at 79 overall. Meanwhile, Cincinatti Bengals running back Giovani Bernard, the 5'9" rookie from UNC, saw his overall increase two points to 77 as a result of his two touchdown performance over the Steelers.

On the defensive side of the ball, Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle is the biggest winner. His overall was increased two points to 81 as he helped lead his team over my beloved Dallas Cowboys. And in case you didn't think the Chiefs were legit, they are now 3-0 following last night's win over the Eagles.

As for the biggest decreases, Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton and San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick are the two most noticeable names on the list. And just because I hate the Giants, I was glad to see David Wilson get a reduction in overall as well.
