2K took to Twitter to announce that Mafia 3 is indeed in development; however, fans will have to wait to Gamescom to learn more. The worldwide reveal of the highly anticipated game will take place on August 5th at 8am ET on the Mafia Youtube Channel.
Though details are scarce at the moment, 2K describes the game as "the next installment in the popular series known for immersing players into a world of organized crime through rich narrative storytelling and a beautifully crafted game world featuring period-accurate cars, music and fashion."
