Friday brought us the launch of the highly anticipated Mafia 3. A game that was one top of many people's most anticipated game of 2016. It looked as if it was going to release and be a great success but sadly, that was not the case.
Last week, we were alerted no early copies would be sent to any reviewers and that the game would be locked at 30 FPS on PC. Many were concerned that the game was in poor shape and that 2K didn't want anyone to see it prior to release.
When the game released, many took to Twitter to express outrage at a buggy and broken mess of a game. Mafia 3 released with a poorly optimized PC port, mediocre AI, glitches everywhere, and strange graphical issues. It made people absolutely furious but 2K and Hanger 13 have begun addressing these issues.
PC players: our patch that includes 30, 60 & unlimited fps options will go live at 3PM PT.

Today, PC players can install a patch that allows an unlimited FPS. So if you want 30, 60, or higher, you can do that! Some players are reporting the games FPS still isn't quite rock solid but it is certainly better than what it was at launch.
The game still has a plethora of issues to be fixed so hopefully Hanger 13 can push out a couple more patches over the coming weeks.
