Mafia 3’s story expansions have been detailed; will also release plenty of free DLC

Mafia 3 is just a little over a month away and even though most of us are eager to play the main story, developer Hanger 13 has given us some more things to be excited about. Today at PAX West, the developers detailed their plans to release both paid and free content to Mafia 3 players. The free updates will consist of ways to personalize Lincoln Clay with things like new clothes and deeper car customization but for those willing to drop down a little extra money, Hanger 13 has some other things in store for you.

Mafia 3 has three story expansions currently planned which will be included with the season pass, expansion one will be titled "Faster, Baby!" and appears to be an expansion set around racing and thrill seeking. The second expansion is titled "Sign of the Times" and appears to be centered around a cult of some kind. The third and final expansion is called "Stones Unturned" and looks to be set back in Lincoln's days as a Vietnam solider.

You can check out some promotional art for the upcoming DLCs below as well as some newly released gameplay footage. Mafia 3 releases on October 7th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
