Magicka coming to square-shaped iOS and Android tablets

The action-adventure PC game Magicka is moving to iOS and Android "soon" as a new cross-platform title called Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet.

The game features four-player co-op across mobile devices. Ludosity — not original developer Arrowhead Game Studios, which is busy with the beta for its next title, The Showdown Effect — is working on the release.

Wizards of the Square Tablet delivers a fresh campaign for single-player or multiplayer, and it contains new items and powers and "four-player mayhem" with "'accidental' team kills."
