Maliwan’s elemental supremacy might make it a preferred manufacturer in Borderlands 2

Borderlands 2 will feature a bajillion guns, but all those guns will stem from those iconic gun manufacturers we've come to love over our many playthroughs of Borderlands. Maliwan was undoubtedly one of my favorites thanks to its heavy emphasis on elemental firepower.

'Combat is an art; Maliwan weapons are the paint' sums up this Borderlands 2 infomercial quite perfectly, and gives Maliwan that 'we're better than the rest' attitude. Is it a bit unsettling that this soothing voice is telling me all about burning, shocking and melting my enemies to an exquisite death? Hell no! This is Borderlands 2!

If, like me, you can't wait to get your hands on Borderlands 2, you're surely counting down the days to its September 18th release. And you know who else is counting down? Gearbox, as Borderlands 2 is Take-Two's third highest pre-ordered game ever. That is indeed no small feat, so how about a round of e-applause for Gearbox for making such awesome games that I lose hundreds of hours in. Well…except for Duke Nuke Forever…

You can look out for Borderlands 2 to hit store shelves on September 18th. Oh and if you're one of the lucky few who got their hands on that loot chest preorder, just know that deep down, I really hate you. That is all.
