It looks like someone decided that the only right way to play Call of Duty was with a loaded AR-15 in his lap and it didn't really go according to plan… Well, whatever his plan was.
According to the Murfreesboro (Tennessee) Police Department, 21-year-old Jacob Aaron Curtis was playing Call of Duty (it wasn't specified which Call of Duty he was playing) with a loaded AR-15 in his lap that "somehow" discharged, firing a shot through his wall in his neighbor's apartment.
His neighbor, an elderly woman was not hurt, as the bullet went low and "very narrowly missed the neighbor's pet who said, "Yeah, it could have killed my dog. He's my best friend."
It isn't clear how the gun fired, but Curtis relayed what occurred to the police who then released the following statement: "While playing the game Mr. Curtis stated that he got into the game and the rifle accidentally went off."
Curtis was charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment.
