A Tennessee man is facing charges of Aggravated Burglary and Possession of a Controlled Substance after stealing his neighbors PlayStation 4 and then stealing the very same neighbors WiFi to play games online. The only reason the victim knew that the thief was using his internet was because he had connected his cell phone to the PS4 prior to it being stolen.
According to reports, the PlayStation 4's true owner went away on vacation, only to return to his apartment with his PS4, two televisions, a laptop and other various items missing. Basically, the burglar was looking to get his man cave all set up for The Division, but he was busted.
A few days after the burglary occurred, the PS4 owner was alerted that his PS4 had not only been turned on, but that it was still connected to his WiFi. After the discovery was made, the burglarized PS4 owner called the police, told them about his situation and his suspicions that it was his neighbor.
Lo and behold, the neighbor – Phillip D. Booker was at home playing on a stolen PS4, the stolen laptop and a baggie marijuana.
