Sony has released a new update for the PlayStation 4, but don't expect any new features or services.

According to its official description (via NeoGAF), the mandatory PS4 system update should improve system stability software. While the update should automatically begin download when you turn on your PS4, manual downloading info can be found below.

The PS4's last update came during E3 week when Sony quietly rolled out the PS4 Media Player with DLNA support. Using the Media Player, you can connect to your home server, or you can plug in a USB stick to watch movie files and listen to music.

The last major update, however, came back in March with "Yukimura" update 2.50. That update introduced a slew of new features including Suspend/Resume, 60FPS remote play, and more.
