Mario becomes self-aware. Next step, Skynet.

There's a storm coming. Who knew though, that it would start with a tiny little plummer who stars in one of the most iconic video game franchises of all time?

Today, the future which you feared the most growing up as a child — the one established by James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger — is about to become real. I present to you the results from researchers at Germany's University of Tübingen.

The video may seem like a genius breakthrough in Artificial Intelligence, as Mario is able to understand a wide array of voice commands, learn from instructions given to him, and autonomously adapt to his environment and the things around him; but, what these researchers don't realize is they're about to provide a breakthrough in the invention of the first neural-net processor that will eventually lead to the development of Skynet and ultimately an all-out global war of extermination against humanity. Basically, these guys will be the ones most directly responsible for the real-life Judgment Day. They are the Miles Dysons of our generation..

Like I said, there's a storm coming. You've been warned.
