Nintendo has just revealed Mario Golf World Tour, a new golf game for the Nintendo 3DS handheld.
In the brief spot it had on today's Nintendo Direct, we were shown a wide range of golf courses ranging from traditional designs to those inspired by Mario's world. It looks like many familiar faces from the Mario universe will make an appearance.
"Developer Camelot has deep knowledge of golf that they are applying to this game and working really hard on course design," Nintendo President Satoru Iwata said. Mario Golf World Tour is described as a game that those "familiar with the sport will appreciate", but has straightforward controls that will allow anyone to really enjoy it.
