Continuing with the Luigi announcements from this morning, a new installment in the Mario & Luigi role-playing series is coming to the 3DS this summer. The new game, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, will take place inside the mind of a sleeping Luigi where his dream will act as the setting. It's Mario Inception!
In the game Luigi and Mario must work together to solve puzzles and overcome enemies. This could include switching over to the sleeping Luigi and touching his face to solve a puzzle. Or you'll need to have multiple Luigi characters to defeat enemies.
Although Mario is featured in the game, it's ultimately Luigi's dream. This allows him to fill the role of a powerful, brave hero. It seems like a fitting position for the green plumber considering 2013 was declared "The Year of Luigi."
