Star Wars: The Last Jedi is fast approaching. In a mere three months, we'll be seeing it on the big screen. If that hype wasn't enough, we know that a new trailer is on the way, but until today, we didn't know when. Until Mark Hamill told everyone.
A Twitter user asked Hamill when they could see the new Last Jedi trailer. Being cheeky, He responded saying, "It's coming eventually!" Followed by, "Watch Monday Night Football on Monday October 9th–for no reason in particular."
The tweet was eventually deleted, but they forgot to use the Force to convince us that it never happened. Here's a screenshot for those who missed it. Hamill is known to have fun, so it's entirely possible he was trying to throw fans off, but it seems much more likely that it's going to happen. Disney co-owns ESPN and the second Force Awakens trailer debuted on Monday Night Football in 2015.
What we know for sure is that The Last Jedi will debut on December 15, 2017. It's directed by Rian Johnson. Also, it's been revealed that JJ Abrams will be returning to the franchise to directed Episode IX.
