It wasn't long ago when Mark Ruffalo revealed that he wouldn't be involved in Captain America: Civil War as Bruce Banner/Hulk. According to Ruffalo, “The reason [for Hulk’s disappearance] is too great to be revealed in [Civil War]. I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don’t want to reveal where is he and why. I don’t even know if Hulk will be back soon.”
Apparently, Hulk's disappearance is due to the fact that he's on some planet out in space and definitely not on Earth. Rumors have begun circulating the the Hulk will be making an appearance in Thor: Ragnarok, alongside Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander and of course Thor himself – Chris Hemsworth.
Other rumors have suggested that Ragnarok will not take place on Asgard (or Earth), but on some other "distant planet" putting Hulk further out into space than ever. The question is, what is the Hulk doing out in space and will Planet Hulk have anything to do with the film? There have been strict denials of Planet Hulk ever making an appearance in film, but who knows.
