Marvel announces Daredevil season 2 premiere date

A few days ago, a report cited that the rumored launch date of Daredevil season 2 would debut on Netflix on March 25th, 2016. It turns out that the much important decision of whether to watch it or Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice first is no longer an issue.

Today, Marvel Entertainment announced that the official release date for Daredevil's season 2 is March 18th, one week earlier than initially reported. This will leave plenty of time to binge the entire season prior to hitting the theaters for Superman. In season 2, we'll get a glimpse of Jon Bernthal's portrayal of the Punisher as well as Elektra. Unlike Kingpin in season one, the Punisher will make his presence known right out of the gate in episode 1.

There has been much anticipation about Bernthal's role as the Punisher and whether or not he'll be able to pull it off. We only have two months left to wait, but Marvel gave us a trailer to hold us over. Check it out below.
