Marvel Battlegrounds gets release date and Civil War Captain America figure

The newest playset for Disney Infinity 3.0, which Marvel fans have been waiting for since the game's announcement, will be available on March 15th. Titled Marvel Battlegrounds, this new Marvel playset will allow up to four players to play across 12 levels that include Knowhere — previously featured in Disney Infinity 2.0 — and Wakanda.

The new playset will also come with a new Captain America figure, which will be styled after the upcoming movie, Captain America: Civil War, featuring the hero without his face covered.

Disney is also giving players incentive to pick this up by offering a free Marvel Super Heroes figure from Disney Infinity 2.0 (your pick from any of the Marvel Super Heroes) — which is fully compatible with 3.0 — with every pre-order at participating retailers.
