Marvel ends its partnership with Sega

Entrusting a company to make worthwhile superhero games is no easy task, but Sega has shown it has no business even attempting to anymore. The company's recent titles – Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America: Super Soldier, and Thor: God of Thunder — have all failed miserably both critically and at the register, and Marvel has finally had enough.

According to comic giant, Marvel will not be making anymore games with Sega. When asked about the broken partnership, Marvel's VP of games production simply stated, "There are no current plans for additional Marvel games to be published by Sega."

After several horrid titles, it's nice to see Marvel finally ending something that never really was anything. Hopefully both these companies will find projects and teams that suit their needs, and will become successful in that, but for right now this is the best move for both parties.
