Marvel’s Daredevil trailer is here and it kicks ass

After releasing a 15-second teaser yesterday, Marvel has released a teaser trailer for Daredevil, coming exclusively to Netflix.

The series stars Charlie Cox as Daredevil/Matt Murdock, alongside Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson and Vincent D'Onofrio. Marvel's Daredevil is a live-action series that follows Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Now, Matt fights injustice by day as a respected lawyer and by night as the masked vigilante known as Daredevil in Hell's Kitchen, New York.

This trailer looks awesome, and gritty, and just what we hoped it would be. So much better than that terrible Ben Affleck movie. Also, he's a hero that gets hurt, as you can see from the last couple of seconds.

Daredevil is the first of several Marvel Comics characters coming to Netflix with their own series. Daredevil will be followed by Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Defenders.

All episodes of Marvel's Daredevil will air on Netflix on April 10, 2015.
