Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Lineup Leaked?

French gaming site PS3Gen has apparently discovered the full character lineup for Capcom’s upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of the Two Worlds. According to their site, the lineup was hidden amongst the HTML source code on Capcom’s Japanese website, although since the time any traces of it has been removed. Here are the thirty-eight fighters who PS3 gen user Aliano has claimed to have made the cut:

As per his twitter account, Capcom PR Manager Wes Phillips is denying any and all character lists as being accurate. “These supposed “final” MvC3 character lists are inaccurate. No one has nailed it thus far. Stay tuned for the realness.” Several characters on the list including Mr. Fantastic and Emma Frost were previously denied by members of the development team. Although provided that this list is accurate, this begets the question, where is Mega Man and/or Phoenix Wright!

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is currently slated for March 2011 for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Expect more news, including a full character line-up, as we get closer to the game’s actual release date.
