Marvel’s Spider-Man’s Silver Linings DLC releases next week

After an acclaimed debut in September and two fairly well-received DLCs, Marvel’s Spider-Man’s tenure is coming to a close next week. The third and final story DLC known as Silver Linings will release on December 21st, 2018 and conclude the ongoing saga between the web-head and Hammerhead’s dispute for control over The City That Never Sleeps.

In Silver Linings, players will see the return of Silver Sable as she comes to reclaim the tech Hammerhead stole from her. Spider-Man will make an effort to keep things under control as Yuri Watanabe is on leave following the events of the last DLC and hopefully stop the crime lord once and for all.

On top of new story and challenge missions, Silver Linings will add new enemy types and suits for Spider-Man to wear. One of the three new suits is Peter Parker’s suit from the acclaimed new animated film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. You can view a picture of it and the other two suits in the DLC above.

If you pre-order a copy of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse on the PlayStation Store starting tomorrow, you’ll get a Silver Linings dynamic theme and some avatar icons for your PS4 profile.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Linings will release on December 21st, 2018 for $9.99 and is the final piece of DLC planned for the game.
