Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 go backward compatible for Xbox One

While we patiently await the new trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda, Xbox and BioWare have dropped a bomb on Mass Effect lovers – the games have originally come to the Xbox One via the backward compatibility feature!

Last year, Microsoft showed off the original Mass Effect game on the Xbox One that promised reduced load times ,by anywhere from four to two seconds. In addition to the reduced load times,  textures load in much faster, transitions between cutscenes and gameplay are smoother, cutscenes tend to play out faster because the game has faster loading and clothing is darker on the Xbox One.

If you've got your Xbox 360 disks on hand for Mass Effect, pop them into your Xbox One and begin downloading them now!

On top that, Andromeda got a brand new trailer today!
