Mass Effect: Andromeda new info coming this ‘Winter’

The wait is on

When Mass Effect: Andromeda got officially announced at this year’s E3, many of us didn’t know what was entirely going on. The info was very scarce on what the plot was and who the characters were going to be. But thanks to Studio Director Yanick Roy we might have a better idea when to expect some news.

Recently both Yanick Roy and Chris Wynn, Senior Development Director, took to twitter to say some things about Mass Effect: Andromeda. Wynn stated that since the E3 teaser, which was all in-engine graphics, the game has received a graphical boost, " Looking better than what we showed in the E3 teaser.

Spending a lot of time in the latest Mass Effect Andromeda build. Looking better than what we showed in the E3 teaser.

Going back to the trailer we can clearly see how crisp the cutscenes looked, so to hear that the game looks even better is a huge plus. But Yanick Roy has made an even more interesting tidbit. Recently on Twitter, Roy and Mike Gamble, Producer for Mass Effect, were asked on Twitter a question “in honor of “Ask a stupid question day” Any chance of some Mass Effect Andromeda news?” Gamble responded he needed to wait until “stupid answer day.” But Roy answered that tweet by saying that they were saving up information “for winter.”

@GambleMike @Flickamatuta @AarynFlynn @bioware Like squirrels do with nuts, we're hoarding them for winter. Is that stupid enough, Mike? 😉

If Roy was telling the truth, we can expect to see some new info on Mass Effect: Andromeda seemingly this winter. Perhaps at Playstation Experience? VG Awards? Who knows, but stick with GameZone for further updates on Mass Effect: Andromeda.
