With the CES 2017 going on today and an expected gameplay reveal for Mass Effect: Andromeda later tonight, we now know when we can expect the game to be released. Bioware announced today that the game will officially be launching on March 21st in North America and the 23rd in Europe.
These dates have been rumored for a while due to leaked materials, but nothing official was confirmed until now. Bioware's General Manager Aaryn Flynn made the announcement today on the Mass Effect blog and detailed some news of the game. Flynn noted that over the Christmas break many developers took home "holiday builds" of the game to play test at their leisure. The feedback has been great apparently with development moving along steadily.
We haven't seen much of Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay to date, with only a short 4-minute video at The Game Awards, but that will change later tonight. Live from CES at 930 PM Est, Bioware will reveal a new gameplay video with all new areas and mechanics. It's rumored that the new Strike Team missions that were confirmed last week will also make their debut.
Be sure to follow up later as we bring you the new gameplay reveal as it happens live from CES
