Mass Effect: Andromeda’s facial animations are still a work in progress

Mass Effect: Andromeda finally got a proper gameplay reveal at The Game Awards last night, but as is the case with pretty much everything, the internet did not like everything they saw. The thing that many fans have been talking about today are the facial animations on Ryder which to be fair are, hit or miss to begin with. Fans immediately reached out to the developers on Twitter, who responded saying that they are still polishing everything and that nothing is final as of right now.

Here are a few of the Twitter exchanges:

Mass Effect: Andromeda currently doesn't have a concrete release date, but it aiming to release sometime in Spring 2017. The game will be looking to its multiplayer mode in order to expand upon its campaign and is looking like it will be its own self-contained story and not a trilogy.
