BioWare's long-awaited next entry in the Mass Effect series officially arrived today, and although reviews for the game haven't been as universally positive as we've hoped, the developers are already hard at work pumping out fixes for the game. Patch 1.04 is officially available now on all platforms after landing first on PC which resolved some much more complicated issues for players on that platform.
According to Andromeda's game producer, Fernando Melo, PC players can expect fixes for the game's multiplayer mode as well as a black screen issue as a result of a conflict with the Corsair Utility Engine. For console players, it's a bit hazy as the only description they have gotten is "various improvements and bug fixes." As expected, the hotly controversial facial animations are not a part of the patch.
The file size for the patch is about 2GBs on PS4 and 775MBs on Xbox One.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
