Eighteen months after the release on the Xbox 360, the Mass Effect Mash-Up Pack is finally hitting the PlayStation versions of Minecraft. As we well know, Minecraft is now owned by Microsoft so the eighteen month delay between consoles is not a surprise.
At this rate, the Dr. Who Skin Pack that released on the Xbox 360 in October of 2014 will release on PlayStation consoles in January 2016.
The Mass Effect Mash-Up Pack will bring the Mars Facility from Mass Effect 3 to Minecraft and will give players the ability to create a world using Mass Effect textures and items. Themed UI's and menus will be available, along with 36 character skins and 22 music tracks. It's a pretty big Pack.
The Pattern Texture Pack, which released on the Xbox today will be hitting PlayStation consoles along side the Mass Effect Pack. It will bring more colors to the Minecraft world. The Pack contains bright colors, patterns and knitted patterns, as well as themed UI's.
Expect both Packs to release on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Vita this week.
